Nationally recognized architects and town planners led by Duany Plater-Zyberk engaged in a week-long study and visioning process for the storm-ravaged Gulf Coast cities.  Recommendations were developed for neighborhood structure, transportation, economic development, environmental concerns, and architecture for eleven municipalities in coastal Mississippi. As members of the Architecture Team, Allison Anderson and John Anderson worked with eleven municipalities to create concepts for new civic and mixed use residential structures.  New models for raised commercial structures and alternatives for grade level retail and mixed use projects using Advisory Base Flood Elevations were designed and incorporated into city plans from Pascagoula to Waveland.
